Each year Chamonix Film Festival opens with a day dedicated to professionals in mountain and adventure cinema. This event provides an opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and discuss topics related to the making, production, and distribution of documentaries set in the outdoors.

  In an age where stories travel faster than ever, how do we make sure they’re told with care, honesty, and respect? How do we protect the environments we visit?

• 14h-15h – Panel discussion: new distribution channels
What are today’s options to get your films funded and seen
• 15h-16h – News and Pecha Kucha:
A series of short presentations from different corners of the world of mountain film
• 16h-17h30 Networking:
Meet others working in mountain and outdoor film, or visiting festival teams
