The Reel Rock team, led by Peter Mortimer, continues its world tour of the most fascinating characters on the climbing planet. The bouldering site in the Fontainebleau forest saw the birth of sport climbing in the 1930s. Today it is one of the world’s leading bouldering sites. Director Josh Lowell turned his camera on an unknown climber, Charles Albert, who seems to have stepped out of a medieval legend. His uniqueness: he climbs barefoot and opens the hardest bouldering routes of today.
