It is not always easy to succeed in sports photography, especially in a discipline like climbing, which requires a good knowledge of the vertical environment. Some tips and techniques will allow you to develop your skills and improve your photos quickly, while letting your creativity speak for itself.
You start the day with a masterclass on the basics of digital photography (settings, exposure, framing, focus…) at the Plan B hotel.
In the afternoon, head to the Gaillands climbing site for an outdoor photo workshop to familiarise yourself with climbing photography and rope climbing techniques.
Theory: During this course you will learn the basics of sports photography. You will be introduced to the rules of framing, light management and exposure of your images. You will be able to familiarise yourself with your equipment and understand its functions.
Practical: During the workshops on the cliff, you will be introduced to verticality management and cliff photography. You will practice and perfect your sports photography and portraits.
Analysis: Personalized debriefing and analysis of the day’s photos
This course is open to beginners as well as to those who want to improve their skills.
