Women are increasingly present in the high mountains, independently and at the highest level. They are leading, guiding and going on expeditions. This change has taken place over a few years and now the norm of male domination in the mountain environment seems incongruous. Tanya Naville, founder of the ‘Femmes en Montagne’ festival in the company of a few guests from the mountain community to talk about these societal changes.
